Management Team

Alex Stein

Chief Executive Officer, Founder, Board Member
A 20+ year high-tech expert with extensive knowledge in business process automation, Alex has a strong track record of successful business leadership, building organizations that have achieved, and sustained, long-term growth and profitability. Prior to Eccentex, Alex was CEO and co-founder of Datamax Technologies. As one of the early pioneers in business process management (BPM) and document management technologies, Datamax has consistently grown and delivered cutting edge comprehensive BPM solutions to organizations worldwide. Datamax was acquired by Exigen Group.

Len Tokar

Executive VP, Founder
Mr. Tokar has more than 20 years of experience in technology delivery and meeting clients’ unique needs. Mr. Tokar is responsible for driving company operations to ensure that business processes are efficient and effective. At Exigen, he served as a Director of the Board since 2000 and was responsible for delivery of client implementation on-value and on-time. Prior to Exigen, he was a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Datamax, responsible for business development, customer delivery and strategic partnerships with companies such as Hewlett-Packard and EDS. Mr. Tokar holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Burr Dalton

CFO
Burr brings more than twenty years of diverse financial experience to Eccentex. As CFO, he has launched or facilitated the growth of multiple technology-driven businesses, leading corporate finance, accounting, tax and legal activities and raising capital to fund operations from both institutional and individual investors. In addition, Burr has more than a dozen years of experience as an investment banker, advising and raising debt and equity capital for both small, closely-held businesses and large, publicly-traded corporations. Burr is a CPA and began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA from Duke University and an Accounting degree from the University of Southern California.

Serge Kazakov

VP of Engineering
Sergiy Kazakov is a Senior Information Technology manager with over 15 years of success developing and executing operation strategies to promote organizational IT needs. Joined Eccentex in early 2008 as Chief Software Architect to take part in development of AppBase platform for rapid delivery of Case Management Systems for businesses and government organizations of any scale. Today Sergiy is responsible for technology strategy, architecture, and governance, including AppBase DCM PaaS platform, cloud platform, and the overall infrastructure powering all of Eccentex products and experiences.

Jim Pierce

VP Digital Strategy
Jim has over 30 years of extensive technology experience as a hands-on career CTO, Business Process Automation Software Engineer. Jim is responsible for driving Digital Business Transformation strategy for Eccentex solutions that provide clients with superior innovative customer experiences and efficient automated business processes. Prior to joining Eccentex, Jim has delivered hundreds of leading innovative financial and government solutions for companies such as Countrywide Financial, Barclays Bank, and Prudential. Jim was also CTO of all of Orange County, CA overseeing over 30 County agencies, responsible for digital transformation of many critical government processes, Jim implemented SOA solution for fiserv enabling of more than a dozen banking core financial solutions using leading BPM technology. Jim lead Software Engineering for Payments & Credit at PayPal doubling revenue to $500M per year by delivering innovative superior customer experiences.

Max Gill

VP of Product Management
Maksim Gill VP Product, DCM Maksim came from developing pattern mining algorithms at UCLA Neurology to heading Eccentex’s DCM product line. He is passionate about enabling line-of-business professionals to innovate on a daily basis without relying on expensive technical teams. He holds a BS in Applied Mathematics from UCLA.

Brian Anderson

Chief Marketing Officer
Brian Anderson has over 30 years of global marketing experience in technology, business-to-business and business to consumer markets. He has a proven track record of maximizing global market penetration, award-winning branding and communications, establishing product/service leadership, a low-touch lead-to-cash marketing/sales model, being seen as a progressive market visionary, opening new channels of distribution and strategic relationships or looking for creative ways to cost-efficiently dominate their market space. Brian has a track record of five successful exits through acquisition and two publicly traded companies as well as fund raising and strategic M&A. He has helped companies grow revenues from startup to $20M and from $50M to $1.8B and is also a frequent industry speaker and published author.

Jeff Sakaguchi

Strategic Advisor, Board Member
Jeff started his career more than 35 years ago and today he is a skilled Business Advisor, Corporate Board Director with experience with such companies as ACT Holdings, True Blue, etc. Jeff graduated Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received MBA at The Wharton School. His key skills are Business Strategy, Start-ups, Strategic Planning, etc.

Diane Chaskey

Government Industry Specialist
With over 35 years in organizational transformation, project and portfolio management, business solution strategy, process governance, and service management, Diane brings a wealth of experience to her position as the Director of Public Sector Solutions Group. Prior to joining the Eccentex Team, Diane served as a senior staff member with the New York State Department of Financial Services and New York State Information Technology Services. Her NYS career experiences include serving as the Project Management Office Director of the Finance Cluster agencies; Program Director over the decommission and solution strategy of hundreds of legacy applications; and IT governance management during the consolidation of the NYS Insurance and Banking Departments. Diane holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, uniting her decades of project management and business analysis disciplines together. She believes the key to successful solution implementation lies in partnering with our Customers, utilizing a holistic approach to fully understand business needs, and collaboratively strategizing those needs into innovative solutions.
